Basic Petrophysical and Rock Physics Modelling of Wireline Logs

Course Summary: Good knowledge of the fundamentals of petrophysics and rock forms the bed rock for proper understanding and interpretation of reservoir elastic properties. Whether for direct estimation of reservoir properties or synthetic modelling of elastic properties for extended reservoir characterisation, petrophysical and rock physics analysis of wireline logs is key. This course will expose participants to fundamentals of petrophysical and rock physics analysis and interpretation of wireline logs. The training will be beneficial to everyone involved in asset management, reservoir delineation, wellsite operations and drilling.

Who Should Attend:

•             Wellsite & Operations Geologists

•             Drillers

•             Mud loggers

•             Petrophysicists
